|January 8th||Dr Michael Keith-Lucas returns, to talk this time on Climate change and it’s effect on our gardening. Those who recall his highly entertaining talk on forensic botany will look forward to this one.|
|February 12th||Rebecca Dowling – one of the gardening team at the Commonwealth Wargraves Brookwood Cemetery, will talk about the gardening challenges for the estate, during one of the busiest years for visitors in 2018, commemorating WW1.|
|March 12th||Frances Halstead, representing The Woodland Trust, discussing our woodlands and the work the Trust does to safeguard them.|
|April 9th||SPRING SHOW / talk TBA|
|May 14th||Jackie Taylor, from Spelthorne Borough Council, who will tell us about the “Street Scene” and the horticultural requirements of the Borough. Though known to quite a few members, many of us will learn a lot more about what goes on our doorsteps.|
|June 11th||ROSE SHOW / Russell Bowes making a return visit with another entertaining talk, this time “Say it with Poison!”|
|July 9th||Avis Marshall, from Kingston Beekeepers. Avis and a colleague will bring along an observation hive and talk about the life cycle of bees and all their current enemies.|
|August 13th||Peter Almond presents his talk “Plants have feelings too” which is reputed to be very entertaining.|
|October 8th||Peter Herring will be discussing “Fungi, Friend or Foe”|
|November 12th||“Gardeners Question Time,” Two volunteer speakers from the gardeners’ charity “Perennial” will answer your questions, submitted in advance via tear off slips on the September and October Newsletter|

Evening meetings held on 2nd Tuesday each month, starting at 8pm.
Summer & Autumn Shows held on Saturdays, dates as above, doors open 2.30pm.
Entrance to shows free -Refreshments available.
